*The separate freezer at The Clock House is stored unplugged, if you are likely to need it please let us know in advance of your stay and we’ll ensure it’s plugged in and cold.

What time is check in? 

You can check in from 3pm. We will endeavour to contact you prior to arrival to let you know when the house is ready and of course if you can get in any earlier.

What time is checkout?

Checkout is before 10am. This is to allow plenty of time to deep clean the house before the arrival of the next guests. If you would like to request a later check out please feel free to email your request and if there happens to be a gap between bookings then we may be able to extend your time.

Where do I park at the Clock House?

The Clock House has space for one car directly in front of the house on the granite cobbles. You will receive all the information including the key code to open the gate in the brochure.

Where do I park at The Courtyard?

No 1 The Courtyard has space to park one car in the communal car park. The car park is securely tucked away behind an electric gate and is only used by a few residents.

Where do I park at St Martin’s House?

You will receive a zapper with your set of keys and this will open the garage. There is space for one car to park inside. 

You’ll have a second parking space directly in front of the garage door. Note: care must be taken to ensure the neighbouring gate to the Clock House is accessible at all times.

When will I receive my damage deposit back?

The house will be checked after checkout for any damages or missing items. Once the house has been checked, your deposit will be processed onto the card you paid with. It may take a few days for Stripe to process this payment.

Are towels and bedding provided?

Yes, you will find plenty of fluffy White Company towels for use during your stay and the bed will be made up ready for your arrival.

What facilities are in the kitchen?

All houses have a fully equipped kitchen

Will there be any provisions at the house?

Yes you will find tea, coffee, milk and juice at the house.

Do you provide shampoo and conditioner?

All houses will have an array of Molten Brown toiletries for you to enjoy during your stay. Please do ensure these remain in the house on check out.

Can I use Wifi?

Yes absolutely! You’ll see the login details when you arrive at the house.

Is it OK to arrive late in the evening?

Yes this is no problem at all. You will receive a code for the key safe and can check in at your convenience. We ask that you keep in touch so that we know you have arrived and have settled in OK.

How far is the nearest shop?

All houses are located right in the centre of town on a quiet side street. You can easily pick up supplies at the M and S FoodHall a very short walk away in East Street, and Boots is just a short walk in North Street.

Can I use the log burner?

All three properties have a wood burning stove and so feel free to use them. We always have the fires set ready for lighting so you can simply light, wait for the kindling to get going and you’ll be ready to add a small log and enjoy!

Do you have a BBQ?

Two of our properties (The Clock House and The Courtyard) have a gas BBQ which you are welcome to use. It is always handy to know when this has been used so that we can ensure it has been cleaned ready for the next guests to arrive.

Can I bring my dog?

In general we don’t encourage pets. However, if you have a small, well behaved dog then we can sometimes make allowances. We ask that dogs keep off the furniture and that they are never left unattended in the house. Note: Dogs are not permitted in St Martin’s House.
